Privacy Policy

The short version

This site has no accounts, no comments, no forms, and no tracking cookies. You can read every page without telling us anything about yourself. The only data we ever receive is (a) anonymous, aggregate page-view statistics and (b) whatever you choose to type if you email us.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted installation of Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data or IP-based identifiers, and does not track you across sites. It gives us aggregate counts only — which pages were viewed, roughly how many times, and from which referrers and countries — so we can tell whether the site is useful. No analytics data is sold or shared with anyone.

Third-party services on this site

Google Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch the font files, which is subject to Google's own privacy policy. We send no data to Google ourselves.

Outbound links. This site links to third-party sites — principally Fanqie Novel, and occasionally Qidian or Zongheng. Once you follow those links you are on their platforms, and their privacy policies apply, not ours.

Email

If you email contact@tiancantudoubooks.com, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to read and reply to your message. We do not add you to any list, do not send marketing email, and do not share your address with third parties. If you want your message thread deleted, just ask.

Children, changes, and contact

This site is a general-audience information resource and is not directed at children; it knowingly collects no data from anyone, children included.

If this policy changes — for example, if advertising is introduced in the future — the change will be published on this page with a new effective date before it takes effect.
